Uniccon Group, a tech innovator with varying projects in STEM Education, and software development welcomes the World Bank to its head office, Abuja. The World Bank’s Country Director (CD); Dr. O. Adekola in attendance represents the international financial organisation. He is received by the Chairman; Chuks Ekwueme and Management.

The Country Director’s visit acknowledges Uniccon Group’s development strides in STEM education, digital literacy drive and capacity building in line with poverty reduction. These interventions align with the international financial organisation’s offer of developmental assistance to low-income countries to fight poverty. Dr. Adekola takes a facility tour of the STEM labs ranging from Robotics, AI, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Web Development & Design, IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, Physics and Math.

Appreciating the groundbreaking human and capital investments of the Group in STEM education and solution, he says “ I must commend you for investing in improving the livelihood of young people through tech skills acquisition. This facility is a rare feat from the private sector in Nigeria to bridge gaps and complement government initiatives”. He shares the overriding objectives of the World Bank to finance projects with humanitarian impacts, advising and researching to achieve development in less privileged countries.
