The Universal Basic Education Commission, Abuja pays an assessment visit to the Uniccon Group’s STEM Project facility. This visit assesses the readiness of the innovative project to meet the current challenges of rendering STEM training to basic education in the country. The tour of the facility on the 4th of March, 2022 has the commission’s STEM focal officer; Mrs. Blessing Obinatu as a representative at Uniccon headquarters, Abuja.
The commission’s representative is welcomed to the facility by the Chairman; Chuks Ekwueme, Group General Manager; Chris Ebosie, Director of Finance, John Angaye, General Manager; Kehinde Ake and Segun Silas the Business Development Manager. Mrs. Obinatu took a tour of the well-equipped laboratories, seminar room, and other facilities in the office. The laboratories are Chemistry and Molecular Biology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Web Development and Design, Machine Learning, IoT, Physic and Mathematics. The commission is impressed with the space, equipment, trained and certified manpower and the network of the Group to meet requirements for teaching STEM to students and teachers.
