Uniccon Group Partners Academia in STEM Education

Prof. Abiodun M. Aibinu of the department of Mechatronics Engineering, FUTMINNA visits Uniccon Group and extends a hand of academic and business fellowship. Speaking after a warm welcome and a tour of the office and STEM laboratories, he commended the Management of Uniccon Group for the foresight in investing in human-impact technologies and training. 


“ l am very happy to be with you today. Thank you for the invitation and seeing what you have on the ground is beyond my expectations. An investment in technologies whether in training or services is an investment in humanity. Development is only possible when there is a synergy between academia, community, government, and industry. This is what I call the quadruple elite. We in academia are happy to partner with you in collaborative projects to advance STEM education”.

Responding to the extension of the partnership, the Chairman; of Uniccon Group, Chuks Ekwueme thanked him for sharing the vision of the Company and his offer of partnership for progress. The STEMFOcus project of the Group will grant undergraduate and graduate internship opportunities to interns, absorb graduates into its workforce as well as collaborate on community projects with FUTMINNA.
